Beth Slate

I grew up in a family where love and acceptance was always a carrot away. My response? I became the addicted overachiever.

Outwardly I was a manifesting powerhouse in the corporate world, building multi-million dollar companies, recruiting for some of the largest companies in the world and breaking every sales record I could find.

But at the end of the day, my heart wasn’t really in it. I lived in burnout, borrowing years of health from my future self.

And then a few years ago, I came across a story of my Cherokee ancestors. Shortly after beginning their forced journey on The Trail of Tears, one of the tribal chiefs counseled his people that they would not continue on that path.

They would go a different way.

The tribe reminded him they had to keep going and that they’d been promised they would be taken care of if they stayed in line. But the chief knew this was not their path and that night they melted into the hills. Unlike most of the others who started that journey, they lived.

And that story changed my life.

I realized that just because I was “good” at what I did, didn’t mean I had to do it.

For too long, I’d been walking someone else’s path. Stepping away from that was exceptionally hard: There was security in continuing on that path, but at the cost of my own joy, fulfillment, peace and purpose.

I knew I had been taking the wrong path and so I chose to Go A Different Way.

For the first time in my life, I am loving what I do: Empowering you to define and reach your own success.

I love being a part of helping you build the life you want, whether that’s through choosing your own path, achieving that next promotion or learning the ability to set healthier boundaries while still affirming your worth.

I did it. You can too.

“I’ve been out of the workforce for nine years and knew I wanted to go back but wasn’t sure for what. I had a fairly lengthy practical career but the truth was I didn’t want to go back to it. Working with Beth has been life changing. I discovered a passion I had, that while a new career direction, leveraged all my previous work and experience and was the perfect answer I needed. I know I wouldn’t have had the courage to even look in this direction if it was not for her help. Now my mind and my heart are moving in the same direction.”
